Proposition L is a 1/4 sales tax on businesses in the City of Dellwood. This will be a quarter of one percent on retail or services rendered within the city. This means only when a purchase is made with a business in Dellwood will it be taxed.  The City estimates generating near $60,000 annually added to the general funds. These funds will be allocated to augment the City of Dellwood’s law enforcement efforts. THIS IS NOT A PROPERTY TAX!

Actual Ballot Language:

Shall the city of Dellwood, Missouri impose a sales tax of one-fourth of one percent on the receipts from of all tangible personal property or taxable services at retail establishments within the city for the unrestricted use and financial benefit of the city and its citizens?
